I have been an ordained Lutheran Pastor for 33 years. I received my Masters Degree in Counseling at North Dakota State University and have been in private practice for the past six years. Prior to that I did a great deal of pre-marital and marital counseling as a parish pastor.

My primary clientele are individuals dealing with anxiety, stress, relationship and work issues, as well as couples desiring pre-marital and marital counseling.

Mediation:

Transformative Mediation
I am a trained mediator and have assisted many people in the workplace to resolve relationship issues. I also work with couples who are seeking to be divorced and want to maintain the best relationship possible after the divorce for the sake of their children. I received my training at the Conflict Resolution Center at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks.

My Family:

I have been married to my beautiful wife Wallyn for the past 44 years. We got married when we were 20 and 21. Along our journey together we have been blessed with three wonderful children and three fantastic grandchildren.

Rates:

My rate is $67.00 an hour for counseling. I also utilize a sliding fee schedule for those who cannot afford the rate stated above. I turn no one away who needs assistance.
I primarily work out of my Fargo office, but do travel for counseling sessions to surrounding communities. When traveling, my hourly rate stays the same, however gas is paid for by the individual/couple receiving counseling. Gas coverage ranges from $25-$45 per trip.
