Marriage Enrichment

What married couple couldn’t use a weekend away from the busyness of life? Regardless of where you are at in your marriage, our Marriage Enrichment retreats provide an opportunity for you to reconnect with your spouse and grow together as a couple. At the retreat you will have focused time with your spouse to receive direction and come away with a renewed vision for your marriage. You will relearn fundamental skills you and your spouse both need to feel empowered, valued, and most importantly, loved.Topics we cover during the retreat:

  • Family
  • Communication
  • Conflict Resolution
  • Financial Management
  • Friendships
  • The 5 Love Languages
  • Aging
  • Intimacy & Sex
  • Faith
  • Commitment
  • Spiritual Formation
  • The 6 Human Needs

What you can expect at the retreat:

  • You don’t have to worry about speaking in front of the group. We understand that many people have anxiety surrounding this, and we’ve designed our retreats to allow you and your fiancĂ© to spend most of the time speaking with just each other after listening to short presentations.
  • This is a fun and relaxing environment. While you can expect to learn and spend time discussing important, and sometimes difficult topics, this is also a place for you and your spouse to enjoy spending quality couple time together and laugh and have fun with the group. (And you can dress casually, too!)
  • All materials will be provided. Just bring yourselves!
  • Snacks and beverages will be provided for you throughout the weekend. On Saturday, there will be a break-out session over the lunch hour. You and your spouse will have a chance to go grab lunch together, on your own.
  • The average retreat size varies from 5 to 15 couples.
  • Retreats are facilitated by certified LifeWorks trainers who have backgrounds as licensed counselors, licensed therapists, clergy, and/or relationship coaches. We look forward to sharing our knowledge, stories and experiences with you!
